Special Focus on Pain and Chronic Illness
Do you or a loved one have a chronic illness or feel pain from an accident or illness? Pain and physical discomfort are an unavoidable part of being human, but managing it using our awareness can make it easier to live a value-connected life.
This “mini retreat” will help you to cope and experience what it is like to be more present in the moment, while cultivating the ability to observe thoughts without getting tangled up in them.
We will build on self-compassion, connection with self and others, and loving kindness through a variety of exercises.
